At Annandale Ob-Gyn & Primary Care, we provide comprehensive gynecologic care to women of all ages. As a full-service practice, we strive to develop long-lasting relationships with our patients to help guide them through the major stages of their reproductive life, along with providing routine care to prevent and treat a wide range of conditions. Our doctors and nurse are fully trained and experienced to handle many gynecologic conditions and treat each patient with the personalized care they deserve for their individual issues.
Many of our patients have been with us since early adulthood – from their first gynecological exam, to pregnancy, menopause and more. We find that many women are more comfortable working with the same doctor throughout these important life stages. Our doctors provide effective, nurturing care for all patients at each one of their visits. Each patient is given individualized attention and will have all of their questions and concerns answered by one of our experienced doctors or nurses.
Routine Care and Screening Routine gynecologic care is the most effective protection against disease, infection and other abnormalities. Early detection and treatment abnormal PAP smears and HPV can help prevent cervical cancer. Regular screenings are especially important as women age, since they become more susceptible to cervical cancer, breast cancer, osteoporosis and more. We provide extensive screening procedures for women of all ages to help detect any problems as soon as possible. More frequent screenings are usually recommended for our older patients to ensure early detection. Our doctors will also educate patients on how to keep themselves healthy at home, by performing breast self-exams and using effective birth control.
Diagnostic Tests We can perform nearly any needed tests at our in-office laboratory that takes much of the hassle out of medical testing for our patients. We routinely perform a pelvic ultrasound, sonohysterogram, hysteroscopy, cystoscopy, urodynamics and more at our state-of-the-art facilities. Our staff is fully trained and experienced to perform these diagnostic tests, and results are available immediately, much faster than when using an outside radiology facility. We provide many gynecologic services that help keep our patients as healthy as possible through regular care and screenings.
Treatment We offer specialized in treatment for a wide range of gynecologic conditions. Our team is fully trained and experienced to handle any type of issue you may be experiencing, and will do their best to provide the best possible results. We have experience in treating women of all ages with conditions such as endometriosis, infection, incontinence, infertility and more. We also treat many conditions associated with menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause. These major phases in each woman’s life often require special care as symptoms and complications may arise. Our doctors are experienced in treating many conditions associated with these stages and encourage patients to make an appointment if they are experiencing symptoms or abnormalities. Many of these conditions can be easily treated through noninvasive methods.
In-Office Laboratory Our office is fully equipped with the most advanced equipment to provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. We also have an in-office laboratory used to perform diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds, blood tests and more. The convenience of our lab eliminates much of the hassle patients experience when using outside labs, and helps us get effective results on a timely basis. Patients are often able to get all of their necessary lab work done within one visit, without having to travel to multiple locations.
