Biography

A former US Naval Officer, Jason retired after 23 years on active duty at the rank of Commander in 2022. He trained as a US Navy Nurse Anesthetist, receiving his graduate degree from Uniformed Services University (USU) in Bethesda Maryland.

His extensive professional experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) include being a staff CRNA at Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA and Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. He was formerly the Chief Nurse Anesthetist at Naval Hospital Yokosuka Japan and Chief Nurse Anesthetist at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center in Ft Belvoir Virginia. While in the Navy, he also practiced anesthesia in a multitude of austere environments during military deployments.

His operational experiences include deployments to the South China Sea, Vientiane, Laos, and Djibouti, Africa as the Chief of Anesthesia for the Expeditionary Resuscitative Surgical System, supporting special operations forces as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, explosive ordnance disposal units, and the White House medical unit on official visits to Southeast Asia.

In his off time Jason enjoys traveling, enjoying the outdoors and eating out. His passion for anesthesia has lead him to Annandale Fertility.
