Biography

Brianna was born and raised in Loudoun County. She went away for undergrad at Michigan State University, then returned to the area for an accelerated nursing program at George Washington University. She spent time as a NICU nurse at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, which serves a high-risk maternal population, where she was regularly pulled into high-risk deliveries and C-sections. That experience pushed her to return to school to become a Women’s Health NP. Before joining Anna Health, she spent a year and a half at an outpatient practice in Maryland focused solely on GYN care.

Brianna sees a lot of value in treating patients proactively and preventively, rather than only addressing acute problems as they come up. She was also drawn back to the field after realizing, during her undergraduate work in human biology and lab diagnostics, how much she preferred working directly with people. Her mother’s lifelong work as a caretaker shaped her belief that everyone deserves an advocate for their health, a lesson she carried from her NICU days, where parents often didn’t know how to advocate for babies who couldn’t speak for themselves.

Outside of work, Brianna picked up golf as a birthday gift from her husband, loves hiking and being outdoors, recently traveled to Italy, and adopted a golden/cattle dog mix.
